THE STUDIO
Established in 1980, Lasting Impressions Photography Studio is located in the heart of beautiful historic downtown Redlands, California.
We are proud to offer uniquely exclusive portrait products such as Artist's Originals, Childhood Treasures and "Kool" Stuff ... designed by our own Artist! Blending our traditional photographic expertise with cutting-edge digital technology allows Lasting Impressions to efficiently serve all of your photographic needs.
We are excited about our profession, and it shows in our work! We offer a large variety of special theme portrait settings throughout the year. New props and backgrounds are acquired on a regular basis, providing our clients with a variety of continually changing portraiture styles.
Through the years, we have worked hard to develop and maintain a reputation for quality portraiture, ethical business practices and client satisfaction. Our services include: Childhood and Family Portraiture, Senior Portraits, Pet Photography, Publicity Portraits, Commercial Product Photography, in-house Copy and Restoration of your old photos and custom portrait framing and matting.
Studio hours are Monday thru Friday 9:30 to 5:30, closing at 5:00 on Thursday due to Market Night on State Street, and Saturday 9:00 to 1:00. Other hours are available by appointment.
THE OWNERS
Doug's interest in photography began when he was a ninth grade school newspaper photographer and expanded during his years as a yearbook staff photographer in high school. His passion for photography flourished as his talents broadened during college and in his use of photography throughout his first career. Doug's photographic skills remain on the cutting edge of his profession, aided by new technology, continuous education and the annual acquisition of new props, backgrounds and sets. His images regularly earn awards in photographic print competitions with his colleagues.
Donna is the studio artist. Her talents allow the studio to offer you uniquely exclusive designer portraits, composites, artistic borders and much more. She personally enhances all portraits prior to printing. Donna has received local, state and national awards for her skills. She was recognized as a Professional Photographers of California 2007 Top Ten Photographer for her illustrative photographic art.
As pioneers of the Digital Revolution, we are sought-out by our peers to present seminars and workshops about digital portraiture and new product development to professional photographers throughout the State; and are also professional photographers' business and marketing consultants. We were honored to receive National recognition for our successful transition to digital imaging in 1999. Our articles about Childhood Portraiture, Senior Portraits and Marketing Techniques have appeared in several national magazines, including Professional Photographer (Professional Photographers of America), Pro Photo West (Professional Photographers of California), Photo Imaging Entrepreneur (a National publication) and Studio Photography (a National publication for Professional Photographers).
Your portrait is very important to us. As Parents (and Grandparents), we treasure our own family's portrait history. From old photos of our ancestors, childhood portraits of our Daughters, memorable family portraits, to the relatively new remembrances of our Grandsons, these heirlooms grow more precious to us with each passing year.
