Donna Jirsa, Owner

I am the studio owner, artist and secondary photographer.  I have been an active partner in the business since its' conception, using my creative talents for portrait enhancement, new product development, artistic portrait design and all photo restoration work, in addition to handling the "business" details.  We proudly offer you uniquely exclusive designer portraits, composites, artistic borders and much more.  I personally enhance all portraits prior to printing.  I am the recipient of local, state and national awards for my skills, and was recognized as a Professional Photographers of California 2007 Top Ten Photographer for illustrative photographic art.

As a pioneer of the Digital Revolution, I have been sought-out by my peers to present seminars and workshops about digital portraiture and new product development and design to professional photographers throughout the State. I am also a Business & Marketing Consultant to professional photographers.  The studio was honored to receive National recognition for our successful transition to digital imaging in 1999.  I have authored articles about Childhood Portraiture, Senior Portraits and Marketing Techniques which have appeared in several national magazines, including Professional Photographer (Professional Photographers of America), Pro Photo West (Professional Photographers of California), Photo Imaging Entrepreneur (a National publication) and Studio Photography (a National publication for Professional Photographers).

Your portrait is very important to me.  As a Parent (and Grandparent), I treasure my own family's portrait history.  From old photos of ancestors, childhood portraits of my daughters, memorable family portraits, to the relatively new remembrances of my grandsons, these heirlooms grow more precious with each passing year.  I would be honored to create quality keepsakes to be treasured by your family and future generations.

Only the highest quality professional digital imaging equipment is used to create your important memories. You'll appreciate the fact that you'll encounter no "pressure-sales" tactics and I truly appreciate your business.  Your experience at Lasting Impressions will be Awesome!

As a Redlands native, I feel a special connection to the heritage and unique beauty of our town. Experience the charm of Downtown Redlands for yourself . . . I invite you to stop by the Studio and check out our quality, value and innovative portraiture style . . . I think you'll be impressed!

IN MEMORY OF OUR FOUNDER

DOUGLAS E. JIRSA

April 9, 1948  -  March 22, 2011

Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Mentor, Steadfast Friend,

Successful Entrepreneur and Award-Winning Photographer

A true humanitarian, always helping others in the background, never asking for any glory, Doug had a vigorous approach to life, prankster-like personality and caring nature. His love of photography led him to establish Lasting Impressions in 1980. He was proud to have celebrated the 30th Anniversary of our business in 2010!

Doug always felt a huge responsibility to serve every client with respect and appreciation, and he was honored that clients entrusted us with the privilege of capturing their memories, which will be treasured for many generations.

Doug was passionate about sharing his skills and knowledge with fellow photographers.  Always ready to lend a helping hand, he took pride in the success of his peers.

We are committed to honoring Doug by continuing the business he loved. We continue to follow the ethical business practices that are the foundation of Lasting Impressions' success.

Wonderful memories of Doug remain with us all ... he is certainly missed!
